The semi-finished lenses are typically made of CR-39, polycarbonate and Trivex, and they come in a variety of shapes, such as spherical and aspherical, and in a variety of powers, such as single vision, double vision, progressive and bifocal. Semi-finished lenses are usually used in frames that are not compatible with other ready-to-wear lenses.
